Before You Hire

Facilities usually schedule electricians yearly for panel checks and emergency lighting, plus repairs as needed. Ask:

• Do you take commercial work, and do you service buildings like ours?
• Can you send a certificate of insurance naming us as additional insured?
• Are you licensed in this state, and may we have the license number?
• Do you pull permits where the work needs them?
• Do you offer infrared (thermal) scans of panels?

Hiring Tips

• Keep panel schedules up to date and legible.
• Never let storage block the working space in front of an electrical panel.
