Before You Hire

Facilities usually schedule fire protection companies at the intervals in NFPA 10, 25 and 72, with annual inspections at minimum. Ask:

• Do you take commercial work, and do you service buildings like ours?
• Can you send a certificate of insurance naming us as additional insured?
• Are your technicians licensed or certified as this state and our fire marshal require?
• Which systems do you inspect: sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, kitchen hoods?
• Which NFPA edition will you test to, as adopted locally?
